when? Why? What for? How?

I have been painting ever since I could hold a brush. Creating pictures serves me as a means of relaxation and motivation and as an expression of my life experiences. My artistic practice is characterised by subjective impressions and feelings that I convey through visual media. Sometimes, however, my artistic activity simply arises from the desire to give a bare, lonely wall something beautiful and colourful. A picture in a room can set the mood, embellish, irritate and entertain.

Each of my works is a fusion of impressions, dream images and moods. From the first splash of colour on the canvas to the last stroke of the brush, I find drive and strong motivation for more ideas, paintings and projects in the creative process. Working on a painting relaxes me and at the same time drives me to create something new.

I am inspired by the small details of life, the colours and shapes of nature and the facets of human emotion.

I like to work with a variety of materials and techniques, mainly acrylics with brushes, fingers or sponges, but also coloured pencils and felt-tipped pens, charcoal, GellyRoll and sometimes mundane neon markers. I usually work on multiple paintings at the same time, alternating between them. This keeps things exciting and engaging—I’m in the planning stages at the beginning of one piece, in the middle of the painting process on another canvas, and for a third piece, I’m either selecting a frame or fixing the colour.

In this way, my paintings are created in short or long processes that reflect my individual perspective on life and my feelings, yet leave plenty of room for individual interpretation.

I invite you to explore some of my paintings in the restaurant Ca’n Llimona and find your own interpretations.

Welcome to my world of colours, shapes and feelings – where each painting tells a story and each detail hums, whispers or screams a mood.

Enjoy my paintings
